An exhibition dedicated to the intelligence officer Nikolai Kuznetsov opened in Yekaterinburg on the basis of the Officers’ House of the Central Military District (CVD). The exposition is dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of the Hero of the Soviet Union, illegal scout Nikolai Kuznetsov.

The exposition presents archival documents, photographs, captured German weapons from the period of the Great Patriotic War. Also at the exhibition there is a thematic location – a corner of a partisan dugout, where visitors can get acquainted with household items, weapons and radio stations of Soviet partisans and scouts of the Great Patriotic War.

Nikolai Ivanovich Kuznetsov – Soviet intelligence officer and partisan. During the Great Patriotic War, right up to his death, he mined intelligence data behind enemy lines. During the period of his work, he personally eliminated 11 German generals and high-ranking officials of the occupation administration of Nazi Germany. For courage and heroism displayed in the line of duty, he was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union.
