In the city of Tula, more than 20 patients with coronavirus infection have been discharged from the Shchekino city hospital, where military doctors of the tank army of the Western Military District (ZVO) provide assistance to the local population.

They underwent the necessary course of treatment, depending on the severity of the course of the disease. After a PCR study and a negative result for a new coronavirus infection, military specialists prepared the necessary documents for discharge. Recovered citizens, having received recommendations from the attending physician, left medical institutions.

Military specialists work in the admission and triage department, hospital, infectious diseases, sanitary and epidemiological departments, as well as in the department of anesthesiology and intensive care, laboratories for PCR diagnostics and research of other analyzes and samples.

In total, 11 doctors and 20 nurses of the tank association work on the territory of the city hospital, together with 20 doctors from military hospitals of the Western Military District. Military doctors have at their disposal artificial lung ventilation devices, monitors for intensive observation of patients, X-ray machines, ultrasound machines, blood analyzers and other medical equipment necessary for the treatment of a wide range of pathologies.
