The 52nd graduation of young officers took place at the Novosibirsk Higher Military Command School (NVVKU). About 200 graduates received diplomas and badges confirming graduation from a higher military educational institution, while 37 lieutenants graduated from the school with honors, and seven of them, in addition to a red diploma, also received a gold medal “For excellent graduation from a military educational institution of higher professional education Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation “.

The solemn ceremony of presenting diplomas of graduation from a higher military educational institution was held in a solemn atmosphere on the parade ground of the school in compliance with anti-epidemiological measures.

The graduates of the school are distributed to all military districts, the Northern Fleet, to the Airborne Forces, Strategic Missile Forces, RHBZ and the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.

Young officers were trained in the specialties “The use of military intelligence units” and “The use of motorized rifle units.” At the end of the training, the graduates successfully passed the state final certification, showing a high level of professionalism and military professional training.

On this solemn day, the head of the Novosibirsk Higher Military Command School, Colonel Sergei Markovchin, addressed the young officers with parting words: “High professionalism, conscientious attitude in their duties, courage and heroism are the hallmarks of the officers-graduates of the Novosibirsk School. Today, there is not a single law enforcement agency in the country where officers – graduates of the school would not serve, exemplarily fulfilling their duties. Our service is not only the protection of the interests of the state, but, first of all, a school of life, tempering of character, testing oneself for strength. Addressing you today, today’s graduates, I express my confidence that you will develop and strengthen the traditions of the Novosibirsk Higher Military Command School, and your service will be a worthy example of the fulfillment of military duty in the name of our great Motherland – the Russian Federation! “

The Novosibirsk Higher Military School was established in accordance with the Resolution of the Central Committee of the CPSU in 1967. Over the years, twenty-eight graduates have been awarded the high title of Hero of the Soviet Union and Hero of the Russian Federation. In October 2017, the Novosibirsk Higher Military Command School was awarded the Diploma of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
