The 145th graduation of the officers of the “Kremlin” took place on Red Square today. More than 270 graduates of the Moscow Higher Combined Arms Command School were presented with lieutenant shoulder straps and badges at the walls of the Kremlin.

The ceremony was attended by the Chief of the General Staff of the Ground Forces, Colonel-General Vasily Tonkoshkurov, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces, Lieutenant General Alexander Matovnikov, the command of the school, military service veterans, guests of honor and relatives of graduates.

“You have a big and responsible job ahead of you. The history of the country teaches us that our army must always be strong, capable of responding to any challenges and threats, to ensure sovereignty and protect the national interests of Russia, the security and peaceful life of our citizens, ”- said in his address to the graduates the Chief of the General Staff of the Ground Forces, General Colonel Vasily Tonkoshkurov.

This year, 89 lieutenants graduated from the school with honors, and twelve of them, in addition to a red diploma, also received a gold medal “For excellent graduation from a military educational institution of higher professional education of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.” Among the graduates there are 15 military personnel of foreign states.

After the presentation of the diplomas, the ceremony of laying wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and farewell to the Battle Banner of the Moscow Higher Combined Arms Command School took place in the Alexander Garden.
