In four settlements of four municipal districts of the region, more than 1,000 residential buildings and 875 household plots, 9 low-water bridges and 3 sections of municipal highways were freed from water.
A total of 6 temporary accommodation points have been deployed. Currently, there are 66 people in TAPs in the town of Shilka and the town of Nerchinsk, including 15 children. Placed citizens are provided with everything they need.
Specialists of the medical and psychological service provide the necessary support to people who were forced to leave their homes and settle in TAPs, and also conduct targeted rounds of citizens. Psychologists provide information support and psychological assistance to victims, answer questions regarding the conduct of rescue and recovery operations. In addition, specialists provide information and psychological support to passengers whose trains were detained in connection with the destruction of a railway bridge.
The airmobile group and local fire and rescue garrisons organized the provision of targeted assistance to the affected population. EMERCOM employees carry out work on clearing areas from garbage, delivering food and medicine, carrying things and evacuating pets.
With the help of heavy engineering equipment of road maintenance sections, work is being carried out to restore the roadbed of intra-village roads and roads of inter-municipal significance. In addition, work is being carried out to drain water from flooded areas through the construction and arrangement of drainage canals, as well as clearing storm sewer systems.
Monitoring of the situation is carried out with the help of unmanned aerial systems of the Russian Emergencies Ministry. In order to assess the current situation in the flooded municipal areas, as well as to deliver humanitarian aid to the Shilkinsky and Chernyshevsky districts, the MI-8 board of the Russian Emergencies Ministry is used. About 7 tons of drinking water and food were transported by air.
In total, a group of over 400 people, 88 pieces of equipment and 17 watercraft were involved in responding to the emerging situation.
