Three inmates of VK-2 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Tomsk Region, accompanied by the colony staff, visited the Siberian Academy of Trees and Shrubs. The event was held with the support of Svetlana Larionova, head of the “Wave of Memory” project at the TRO “Union of Women of Russia”.

The excursion for convicted minors was led by the director of the nursery, Sergei Goroshkevich. “We are a unique research and production company that offers the widest range of planting material for Siberia, the Urals and European Russia. About 2000 items: fruit and ornamental, coniferous and deciduous, herbaceous and woody, local and exotic, ordinary and exclusive plants, ”said Sergei Goroshkevich, demonstrating the most interesting specimens.

Visits to nurseries, theaters, museums, exhibitions and sports complexes outside the colony are organized as an incentive for pupils who study in good faith, work and actively participate in the social life of the institution.
