At the Kryazh aerodrome of the Samara branch of CSKA, as part of the parachuting championship of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, athletes began to compete in individual and group acrobatics. After the first two rounds, the leadership in the men’s and women’s individual standings was won by the athletes of the Central Sports Club of the Army.

According to the results of the first two rounds in the individual competition among women, sergeant Ksenia Fominykh took the lead. Sergeant Maria Elkina is on the second line of the protocol. Captain of the RF Armed Forces Yevgenia Furman closes the top three.

In a similar standings among men, all the first three positions are also held by representatives of CSKA. Ensign of the RF Armed Forces Konstantin Kotov is in the lead. The second place is still occupied by Lieutenant of the RF Armed Forces Alexey Bykov. Ensign Dmitry Yary is in third position.

“We can safely say that in the entire history of the 21st century this is the first championship of the Russian Armed Forces, which we hold in Samara on the basis of CSKA,” noted the Chief Judge of the competition – Honored Trainer of the USSR in parachuting, judge of the international category, military pilot of the 1st class, Colonel of the Air Force Anatoly Konstantinovich Syrchin. – In terms of importance, our tournament is higher than the national championship: by the number of participants, by the dynamics of work, by the number of exercises. And in the USSR there was also – the championship of the Armed Forces was more significant than the civilian championship of the country. Because the level is the highest. All the strongest paratroopers in the country are now here. They also performed in Russia at the beginning of July, in Rybinsk, and now here. It is important to note that the tournament among military personnel gathered 30 more participants. Also, the program added group acrobatics, which is not in the program of the Russian civilian championship. Plus, here in Samara, a very solid organization of the event. I am very pleased with the way the management of the Samara branch of CSKA organized everything: everything is very convenient, accessible, each team has a tent for rest, everything works smoothly. “

In total, 125 strongest military athletes in 7 teams – CSKA, VDV, VKS, ZVO, YuVO, VVO, TsVO, DOSAAF will take part in the parachuting championship of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Samara. Among them, about 60 parachutists will compete for awards in their standings.

Winners and awardees in all standings of the parachuting championship of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will be determined on July 30.
