Kamaz will build a service center for K5 generation cars in Azerbaijan, the company said in a press release.

“The existing service network in the republic is clearly not enough. It is necessary to build a service center in Azerbaijan for K5 cars. Today, agreements have already been reached together with the Ganja Automobile Plant on the construction of such an object in Karabakh. In the near future, a project will be developed and approved and we, together with a partner, will start construction of a modern service center in order to provide the Azerbaijani consumer with an efficient, convenient operation of our newest vehicles, “said General Director of Kamaz Sergey Kogogin.

The automaker plans to bring fifth generation tractors to the Azerbaijani market.

“If Azerbaijan’s demand for the purchase of trucks of the latest K5 model range is confirmed, the company is ready to offer its newest KAMAZ-54901 vehicle along with high-quality service,” the release says.

Within the framework of the business mission, Kamaz and the Ganja Automobile Plant signed a memorandum on the organization of a joint venture – a leasing company – for leasing Kamaz trucks and trailers for leasing to consumers in Azerbaijan.

Kamaz is the largest Russian manufacturer of trucks and is one of the 15 leading world manufacturers. The company produces trucks, trailers, buses, engines, power units and various tools. The largest shareholders of Kamaz are the state corporation Rostec (49.9%), Avtoinvest LLC (23.54%) and Daimler Truck (15%, a subsidiary of the German auto concern Daimler).
