The Far Eastern airline is being created by order of the President of Russia on the basis of the regional air carrier Aurora. In order to quickly start the operation of the new airline, a list of 20 routes has been formed. Among them: Khabarovsk – Anadyr, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky – Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Vladivostok – Chita, Komsomolsk-on-Amur – Blagoveshchensk. The cost of the flight will be from 2.2 thousand to 10.9 thousand rubles (one way), depending on the route. It is planned to carry out at least 1,780 flights along these routes and carry about 104 thousand passengers. By order of the Government RUB 1.58 billion was allocated in 2021 to subsidize preferential passenger air travel between the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District. The creation of a single Far Eastern airline will make flights between the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District more accessible to citizens, and will increase the transport connectivity of the Far East.
