Servicemen of the electronic warfare (EW) units of the motorized rifle unit of the Central Military District, stationed in Siberia, suppressed the radio network of the mock enemy using the Borisoglebsk-2 electronic warfare (EW) complex at the Yurginsky training ground in the Kemerovo region.

During the exercise, the servicemen marched to the designated area and deployed the Borisoglebsk-2 electronic warfare system. After that, the specialists carried out direction finding of the working communication facilities of the imaginary enemy in order to suppress them. Having established stable radio interference in the selected operating frequency range, the servicemen reliably broke the enemy’s entire radio communication network, depriving him of the ability to control subunits of high quality.

In addition, specialists carried out constant monitoring of shortwave and ultrashortwave radio frequencies in the immediate vicinity of military facilities.

In total, more than 300 military personnel took part in the exercise and about 30 units of military equipment were involved.
