Poet and prose writer Mikhail Yuryevich Lermontov left a great creative legacy: 30 poems and about 400 poems. Schoolchildren can learn interesting facts from the life of one of the greatest poets of the golden age of Russian literature from video.
The idea to write a poem about a captive child who, after becoming a monk, tries to escape from the monastery, appeared in Mikhail Lermontov’s youth. However, it took almost 10 years to create the poem “Mtsyri”.
