On July 26, in the Sverdlovsk Region, the final starts and the ceremonial closing of the Russian Emergencies Ministry Championship in firefighting and rescue sports took place.

On the final day of the competition, the athletes showed themselves in combat deployment. In this command discipline, it is necessary to lay the main and hose lines, supply water from the motor pump and hit the targets.

The winners and prize-winners of the competition were awarded medals and cups. In the overall standings, the main trophy of the Championship – the challenge cup, was won by the St. Petersburg team. The second place was won by the team of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Ugra, and the team of the Chelyabinsk Region closed the top three.

The event was held in strict compliance with measures aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus infection. Only the participants and organizers of the Championship could get to the sports ground, through the checkpoint, where the presence of masks was checked, and the hands were treated with an antiseptic.
