Servicemen of the engineering units of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) marines marched to the training grounds of the Primorsky and Kamchatka Territories to conduct a complex of tactical and special exercises for combat training.

During the exercise, engineers will practice actions to lay routes through minefields, conduct training in detecting and neutralizing explosive devices of a simulated enemy, and also perform engineering reconnaissance of the terrain.

In addition, servicemen will work out the tasks of laying and masking mines, erecting engineering barriers, equipping fortifications, as well as setting up shelters for personnel and equipment.

The events are taking place in accordance with the Pacific Fleet’s combat training plan.

In total, more than 500 servicemen of the Marine Corps engineering units and about 60 units of military and special equipment take part in the special tactical exercises.

Classes at the training grounds will last until mid-August.
