State inspectors for small boats of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Trans-Baikal Territory have been working for the third day in the village of Uryum, where during the flood the only pedestrian bridge connecting the two halves of the settlement was destroyed.

Every day, boat inspectors transport about 200 people from shore to shore. They start in the morning, as many citizens need to get to work, and they finish in the dark. Patients and pensioners, adults and children need help.

At the moment, in the flooded areas of the region, there is a decrease in water, bridges and crossings are being restored by the authorities of the authorities, so state inspectors are on duty only in the most problematic areas in the village of Uryum and the city of Sretensk.

In total, a group of 188 people, 30 pieces of equipment and 9 watercraft were involved in eliminating the consequences of flooding.

As of July 27, 2021, there are no flooded settlements, residential buildings and household plots, 11 low-water bridges and 3 road sections remain flooded in the Trans-Baikal Territory.
