In the Nizhny Novgorod region, at the Mulino training ground, within the framework of a special tactical exercise with servicemen of a separate artillery brigade of the Guards Tank Red Banner Army of the Western Military District (ZVO), unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) crews adjusted the fire of 152-mm self-propelled howitzers 2S19 Msta-S.

Unmanned aerial vehicles “Orlan-10” and “Eleron-3” were involved in the flights. The fire adjustment was carried out at an altitude of 500 to 2 thousand meters using optical observation equipment built into the UAV. At the command post, the operator transmitted target designations and corrections to the battery commander, who controlled the fire of self-propelled howitzers.

In total, over 300 servicemen and more than 70 units of weapons, military and special equipment of the ZVO Guards Tank Army were involved in the exercise.
