Developers, hackers and users will be able to evaluate its reliability and resistance to hacking, as well as try out new functions.

Testing of the electronic voting system has started in Moscow, which will be used during elections in September 2021. The first participants in the check have already cast their votes. Testing started according to plan and is proceeding without failures. The correct operation of the online voting system is monitored by its developers, as well as external experts.

The check takes place in the form of an online voting, in which all adult Muscovites with a full account can take part. To do this, you need to log in using your account and go to link… To download the newsletter, you need to enter the code from the SMS message that will come to the phone number indicated in your profile. After that, you can make your choice. Test voting is available until 19:59 on July 30.

Testing is necessary to check the readiness of the electronic voting system for full-fledged operation and to make sure that it is convenient. In addition, it allows you to check the technological innovations introduced into the system and check that it works without errors, even under heavy loads.

During the test vote, citizens will be able to answer two questions. They relate to the mandatory vaccination against COVID-19 for representatives of socially significant professions (provided that employees do not have a medical outlet), as well as the development of personal and public transport.

Voters will also be able to rate the new Deferred Decision feature. It will protect them from technical failures on the part of the user. If the voter loses the Internet connection or the gadget freezes, he will be able to reopen the ballot after a while and make his choice.

Together with residents of the city, hackers will also take part in the testing. They will try to hack the system and affect the correctness of its work. Anyone who succeeds will receive a monetary reward.

The electronic voting system will be used in the elections of deputies of the State Duma, Moscow City Duma and municipal deputies of the Shchukino district, which will be held from 17 to 19 September 2021. Adult Muscovites with a full account and active suffrage will be able to vote online. Learn more about remote electronic voting in a special section on
