The Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, presented state and departmental awards to representatives of the military-industrial complex, admirals and officers of the Navy. The solemn ceremony was dedicated to the Day of the Russian Navy and took place in the Admiralty building, where the Main Command of the Navy is stationed.

They were awarded: the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree – General Director of the Almaz Marine Design Bureau, Alexander Shlyakhtenko; Order “For Marine Merit” – General Director of JSC “Perm Plant“ Mashinostroitel ”Vladimir Lomaev; the Order of Friendship – scientific director of JSC “Concern” Granit-Electron “Georgy Korzhavin; the Suvorov Medal – Chief Inspector of the Coastal Forces Directorate of the Navy, Lieutenant Colonel Pavel Boldyrev; Medal of the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” II degree – the head of the Black Sea Higher Naval School named after P.S. Nakhimov, Rear Admiral Alexander Grinkevich, as well as Chief Inspector of the Navy’s communications service, Captain 2nd Rank Pyotr Shakirov, and Head of the Joint Training Center of the Russian Navy, Captain 1st Rank Dmitry Gabrielyan.

The honorary title “Honored Military Specialist of the Russian Federation” was awarded to Vice Admiral Igor Mukhametshin, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Navy for Armaments.

The gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation was announced to: Head of the Navigation and Oceanography Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Captain 1st Rank Konstantin Speransky; Deputy Chief of the Operations Directorate of the Main Staff of the Navy, Captain 1st Rank Andrei Korablev.

The Chairman of the Commission for State Acceptance of Navy ships, Captain 1st Rank Alexei Poteshkin, was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the President of the Russian Federation.
