A convict serving a sentence at the site of the colony-settlement of correctional colony No. 2 is an orphan and, according to the law, has the right to receive social housing. Thanks to the painstaking work of the employees of the social protection group, he received the keys to a comfortable apartment, where he will live after his release.

The boy ended up in a boarding school at the age of three, when his parents were deprived of parental rights. Barely leaving the social institution into adulthood, he committed theft. As a result – three years in a penal colony and the loss of a place in the queue for housing.

With the latter, specialists from the social protection group and accounting for the length of service of convicts in IK-2, where he arrived to serve his sentence, undertook to help him. Almost a year of systematic work to restore the rights of the convict to the housing required by law has yielded results. The leadership of the Temkinsky district of the Smolensk region allocated him an apartment in the regional center.
