Marat Khusnullin together with the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Southern Federal District Vladimir Ustinov held a meeting with the heads of the constituent entities of the district

Starting his work, the Deputy Prime Minister recalled that as the curator of the Southern Federal District in order to develop a common economic policy in the regions to achieve national goals, he would like the main problematic issues and growth points of the Southern Federal District to be identified during his working trip for more effective work in these areas. … “It is necessary to update the strategies of socio-economic development of the constituent entities, ensuring the end-to-end compliance of key indicators with the strategy of the federal district, as well as national goals. In the future, we will monitor the achievement of these indicators, ”explained Marat Khusnullin.

He instructed to send proposals on investment projects and problematic issues of the subjects to the Ministry of Economic Development. “First of all, it is necessary to prepare three to five large investment projects aimed at socio-economic development, with the proposal of results for January 1, 2024 and 2030,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.

The meeting participants also discussed the implementation of the Housing and Urban Environment national project in the Okrug. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, only four regions are ahead of the average Russian values ​​(Astrakhan Region, Adygea, Kalmykia, Crimea). However, speaking of positive dynamics, Marat Khusnullin noted that the commissioning of housing per person in the Southern Federal District as of July 1, 2021 is 0.263 sq. m.

According to Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Utilities Yuri Gordeyev, when housing is commissioned in the Southern Federal District, fewer apartment buildings are rented out and more low-rise construction projects. He also drew particular attention to the need to increase the pace of solving the problem of defrauded equity holders.

The meeting participants also discussed the indicators for resettlement from hazardous housing, which in the Southern Federal District are lower than the national ones and make up 89% of resettlement by area (in Russia – 105%).

In the course of the work, individual programs for the development of the subjects of the Southern Federal District were discussed. The Governor of the Astrakhan Region Igor Babushkin made a presentation. He thanked the Government for assistance in resolving the problematic issue of 140 families of citizens – participants in shared housing construction. He also said that the region is carrying out similar work on the “road maps” of eight problem sites.

Continuing the discussion of the issue of shared participation of citizens in construction, Marat Khusnullin instructed the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratyev, together with the Fund for the Protection of the Rights of Citizens – Participants in Shared Construction, to develop within a month a “road map” of the region for a more effective solution to the problem.

Discussing the results of the development of the region, Marat Khusnullin thanked the administration of the subject for the good work on the national project “Safe and High-Quality Roads”. In this area, the Deputy Prime Minister especially noted the work of the leadership of the Republic of Crimea, calling it a breakthrough in the development of the region. According to him, in general, cash development under the national project in the Southern Federal District at the beginning of the week amounted to 49% (17.5 billion rubles), which is higher than the national average (35%).

The first deputy governor of the Rostov region Viktor Goncharov also made a presentation. Marat Khusnullin drew the speaker’s attention to the need for more effective work on the federal project “Clean Water”.

During the meeting, the issue of cash execution of the individual program of socio-economic development of the Republic of Kalmykia and the Republic of Adygea was discussed.

Summing up, the Deputy Prime Minister noted the generally positive dynamics of achieving indicators of national goals. “I think that the overall performance is good. I see that they are higher than last year. Please keep this question under control. The regions have a very large potential. It needs to be developed and developed, ”Marat Khusnullin concluded the meeting.
