In the first six months of this year, the number of individuals registered on supplier portal, increased by more than a third compared to the same period in 2020 and amounted to 22.4 thousand, said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov.
“As of July 1 of this year, 22.4 thousand individuals offer their works, goods and services on the portal of suppliers. This is 5.1 thousand (or 30 percent) more than in the same period last year, and one and a half times more than in the first half of 2019. Since the beginning of this year, customers have concluded more than 630 contracts with individuals for a total amount of more than 70 million rubles. The growing interest of individuals to work on the portal is associated with the convenience of the service and its simplicity. To become a supplier, it is enough to register for free on the portal and have an enhanced qualified electronic digital signature, ”said the Deputy Mayor.
According to him, the average amount of a contract with individuals was 111.1 thousand rubles. Most often they order consulting and educational services, as well as services in the field of culture and art.
Since July 2020, the self-employed are included in a separate category on the supplier portal. They have the opportunity to choose the appropriate tax status and get into the general register of suppliers. Self-employed can participate in tenders on the same conditions as representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, the Moscow Department of Information Technologies emphasized. However, there are also some restrictions on the annual income. For example, if a self-employed person takes part in procurement, as a result of which he receives an income of more than 2.4 million rubles, he will lose his status.
“A total of 1960 self-employed are registered as suppliers on the portal. Since July last year, they have signed almost 550 contracts worth 72 million rubles. The average cost of one contract was about 131 thousand rubles. Most of the contracts with self-employed people were concluded in December 2020 – this month there were 84 contracts worth 14 million rubles, “said the head of the Moscow City Department for Competition Policy. Self-employed people can offer their goods and services to a wide range of customers, including the city. Among the most demanded categories of contracts are rehabilitation, employment and staffing, maintenance, maintenance and repairs, services in the field of culture and arts.
