The junior soldier Alexander Chagin, a student of the Moscow school number 709, as part of a group of nine people under the guidance of coach Vladimir Khamurzov climbed Mount Kazbek, whose height reaches more than 5 thousand meters. This is beyond the power of many adults, but a 16-year-old guy coped with all the obstacles, overcame himself and placed the flag of the All-Russian Children and Youth Military-Patriotic Public Movement “Yunarmiya” on the top.

The Yunarmeets prepared for the campaign for about a month, went in for sports and collected equipment, and finally, in the middle of summer, the group flew to Vladikavkaz and from there went to the Karmadon Gorge.

Recall that the All-Russian Children’s and Youth Military-Patriotic Public Movement “Yunarmiya” was created in 2016 at the initiative of the Ministry of Defense and with the support of the President of Russia. Now there are almost 850 thousand participants in its ranks. The main task of the movement is patriotic education, as well as the physical, intellectual and social development of young people.
