House of A.F. Losev invites to a lecture-film screening “Summer seasons in old Moscow”

Yulia Dimitrova, screenwriter, Ph.D. in art history, will tell about how the Moscow inhabitants spent their summer more than 100 years ago, where they went for walks, where they rode boats or swam. Also, guests will find out where the most popular and fashionable green places, summer gardens and air theaters in Moscow were.

The lecture will be accompanied by live music. The pianist Dmitry Korostelev will perform works by John Field, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Sergei Taneyev, Frederic Chopin, Johannes Brahms and other composers.

During the event, guests will be shown a short film.
