At the Kryazh airfield of the Samara branch of CSKA, the best in group acrobatics were determined within the framework of the parachuting championship of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

Among the men’s teams, there was no equal to the Russian Armed Forces team, which included four representatives of the Central Sports Club of the Army – Ensign Konstantin Kotov, Lieutenant Alexei Bykov, Winner and multiple winner of the FAI World Championships Ensign Mikhail Melnikov, and Ensign Valery Huvenen, a participant in the landing to the North Pole. The team also includes an athlete of the Airborne Forces Azat Pasyayev.

For eight rounds of the competition, the team completed 181 figures in the air. In second place are the servicemen of the Airborne Forces (126 figures). The athletes from the Central Military District (80 figures) were awarded bronze medals.

In the competition of women’s teams, the first place was taken by the parachutists of the Central Sports Club of the Army, consisting of Captain Evgenia Furman, Senior Lieutenant Elena Tusheva, Warrant Officer Ksenia Trofimova, Sergeant Maria Elkina.

For eight jumps, the army athletes showed 171 figures in the air. With a result of 137 figures, the second place was taken by the representatives of the Airborne Forces. The third were the servicemen of the Western Military District (80 figures).

At the parachuting championship of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, it is necessary to determine the winners in landing accuracy. The organizers plan to finish this part of the competition on Thursday.
