On the sites of the Caspian Flotilla in Astrakhan and Kaspiysk from August 27 to August 29, the events of the military-technical forum of the Southern Military District (YuVO) “Army-2021” will take place.

In Astrakhan, dynamic and static screening will take place on the territory of the city park named after Peter the Great and the embankment of the r. Volga. In Kaspiysk, the forum’s events will be organized on the territory of the Khalilov Park and the embankment opposite the Moskva cinema.

Samples of weapons, military and special equipment of the KFL, special forces, military police, coastal artillery, engineering troops, electronic warfare services, search and rescue departments will be exhibited at the equipped sites for the static display. In addition, the servicemen of the flotilla will deploy an exhibition of naval underwater weapons, logistical support and small arms.

During the dynamic demonstration, guests will be shown the practical use of the latest models of ships, vessels, boats, as well as combat and special equipment of the flotilla.

The forum on the territory of the Southern Military District (YuVO) will be held for three days, each of which provides for a visit by spectators. In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection, the necessary sanitary measures will be taken at all sites of the forum: thermometry of all visitors, monitoring of observance of the mask regime, as well as disinfection of the territory and facilities by the forces of radiation, chemical and biological protection units will be taken.

More than 40 formations and military units of the military district will take part in the events of the Army-2021 forum in the Southern Military District, representatives of defense industry enterprises, research institutes and educational institutions have been invited.
