At the exhibition, organized at the initiative of the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov, the founders of the Marine Photographic Collection Foundation – photographers Alexander Alyakrinsky, Alexander Kilmet, artist-designer Rosita Ruiz presented their work.
A unique photo exhibition “ARISTOCRATS OF THE SEAS”, which was dedicated to the 5th Main Naval Parade and the 325th anniversary of the Russian regular fleet, completed its work in the Admiralty building. At the exhibition, organized at the initiative of the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov, the founders of the Marine Photographic Collection Foundation – photographers Alexander Alyakrinsky, Alexander Kilmet, artist-designer Rosita Ruiz presented their work.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, thanked the organizers of the exhibition for their sensitive attitude to the naval theme and expressed confidence that unique images of warships and submarines of the modern Navy will soon appear on the photographic canvas. Above the creation of a new project dedicated to the Russian Navy, “Aristocrats of the Seas” are already carrying out painstaking work.
Previously, this photo exhibition was presented at the Konstantinovskaya Battery Museum and Exhibition Complex (Sevastopol), the Ushuaia Maritime Museum (Argentina), the P.S. Nakhimov (Sevastopol), the Kronstadt Naval Cathedral in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, the Central Naval Museum named after Peter the Great (St. Petersburg), the Admiralty (St. Union of N.G. Kuznetsov “(St. Petersburg), the Naval Polytechnic Institute.
The Marine Photographic Collection Foundation is the only creative association in the world dealing with artistic marine painting. The goal of the “ARISTOCRATS OF THE SEA” project is to give the dream of the sea to those who have not had a chance to go on long voyages, and memories to those whose life is inextricably linked with the sea and sailing ships.
The exhibition “ARISTOCRATS OF THE SEAS” (over 140 photographs) was exhibited in the cities of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sevastopol, Vladivostok, Sochi, Yalta, Gurzuf, Berlin, Prague, Barcelona, Tarragona, Segovia, Granada, Lisbon, Vienna, Kronstadt, Ushuaia. Photographs of the authors are in museum funds or are presented in existing expositions in the Central Naval Museum named after Emperor Peter the Great of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the International Children’s Center “ARTEK”, the All-Russian Children’s Center “Ocean” (Vladivostok), the Children’s Maritime Center of Yalta, the Baltic State Academy the fishing fleet, the Vladivostok Presidential Cadet School-branch of the Nakhimov Naval School, the Black Sea Higher Naval Order of the Red Star School named after P.S. Nakhimov, the Ushuaia Maritime Museum (Argentina), the Russian House in Barcelona, at the Moscow courtyard of the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Solovetsky stauropegic monastery, in private collections in Russia, France, Spain, Germany, Japan, Argentina, Italy, China, USA.
