A separate unit of radiation chemical and biological protection (RHBZ) of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet), stationed in the Primorsky Territory, received a batch of five newest TDA-3 thermal smoke machines for setting aerosol curtains.

It is based on the KamAZ-5350 cross-country vehicle. The power plant TDA-3 is an engine that converts special mixtures into a thick aerosol curtain. It makes it possible to put both a horizontal and a raised curtain, which is capable of masking ships and other objects of basing points.

The new machine allows you to hide objects not only in the visible, but also in the infrared range of electromagnetic radiation. In addition, the machine can be used for disinfection, degassing and decontamination of areas, buildings and other large objects by spraying solutions for special treatment.

Unlike the previous version, the crew of the new vehicle consists of two people. The set also includes a portable control panel that allows you to control equipment from a distance.
