More than 53 billion rubles will be allocated for the construction and reconstruction of roads and road infrastructure in the regions. The order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Most of the amount – 42.8 billion rubles – will go towards the advanced construction of the M-12 Moscow – Nizhny Novgorod – Kazan highway. The route will become the most important part of the Europe – Western China transport corridor. It is planned to start operating it in 2024.

More than 11 billion rubles will be distributed among 20 regions. These funds will be used to upgrade the road infrastructure of regional, intermunicipal and local significance. We are talking, in particular, about the construction of a section of the Yekaterinburg ring road, the construction of a bridge in the Yenisei district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, overhaul of the overpass in Yaroslavl, the creation of a bridge in the Kirishsky district of the Leningrad Region and a number of other events.

Control over the efficient and targeted spending of budgetary funds is entrusted to the Ministry of Transport and Rosavtodor.
