The equipment is supplied under life cycle contracts. This means that the supplier will maintain and repair the equipment throughout its entire life cycle.
In the capital, the program of overhaul of polyclinics continues in the framework of the new Moscow standard, as well as large-scale re-equipment with the latest equipment. More than 100 units of high-tech equipment have been purchased for more than 20 polyclinics where the renovation has already been completed. It is supplied under life cycle contracts.
“The procurement program under life cycle contracts is primarily aimed at replacing equipment that has exhausted its technological resource, as well as equipping medical organizations with the necessary equipment. We continued trading and are fully implementing our procurement plans. We have purchased more than 100 units of high-tech equipment for outpatient clinics that have completed overhaul according to the new standard. The renovated polyclinics received the latest ultrasound imaging systems, X-ray diagnostic complexes and X-ray machines of the “U-arc” type. The equipment received by the institutions meets all modern requirements and will become part of the unified digital platform of the capital’s healthcare, ”said the press service of the capital’s social development complex.
The most important element of the program is the renewal of medical equipment according to a unified standard, which makes it possible to qualitatively improve the possibilities for diagnostics and treatment in each polyclinic. They update not only equipment, but also engineering communications, the exterior of buildings and interior decoration. The standard provides for new zoning, more convenient location of doctors’ offices, buffets and comfortable waiting areas with ergonomic furniture, as well as playrooms for children and rest rooms for employees.
In each branch of the polyclinic, doctors of the eight most demanded medical specialties will conduct appointments. Among them are a therapist, cardiologist, otorhinolaryngologist, surgeon, neurologist, ophthalmologist, urologist and endocrinologist. Up to five doctors of narrow specialties will work in the head units: an allergist-immunologist, a gastroenterologist, a pulmonologist, a coloproctologist and an infectious disease specialist. Thus, the most demanded doctors will see patients close to their place of residence. This will reduce the number of patient movements between branches.
Equipment supplied under life cycle contracts provides for further maintenance and repair by the supplier throughout its entire service life. This allows you to get the best price / quality ratio of the equipment, as well as the cost of its maintenance.
It is planned to reconstruct 137 city polyclinics and build 30 new ones with a total area of more than 250 thousand square meters by 2024.
