MIL OSI Translation. Region: Russian Federation –
Over 2.6 billion rubles will be additionally allocated to the regions for measures to reduce the level of environmental pollution within the framework of the federal project “Clean Air”. The order on the distribution of this funding was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The money will go to the Trans-Baikal Territory, Kemerovo and Omsk Regions during 2021-2022. Most of the funds – 1.1 billion rubles – will be directed to Novokuznetsk. With their help, tram lines and trolleybus networks will be repaired in the city, as well as heating mains and gas pipelines will be built. This will help transfer residents of private houses to district heating instead of stove heating, which is still used in the region.
Chita will receive over 914 million rubles. The public transport park will be renovated there by purchasing trolleybuses, a trolleybus depot will be built, and old coal-fired boiler houses will be closed. The rest of the funds – 613.4 million rubles – will be directed to Omsk. With this money, the city will buy more environmentally friendly models of buses that run not on gasoline, but on gas engine fuel.
The work is carried out within the framework of the federal project “Clean Air”, which is part of the national project “Ecology”.
The issue was reviewed and approved at the meeting of the Government on July 30.
The document will be published
