From January 1, 2021, all civil status records registered since 1926 are contained in the Unified State Register of the Civil Registry Office.
It has become easier to get in the capital duplicates of documents from civil registry offices drawn up in other regions due to the transfer of archives into electronic form. The acting chief told about it Office of the Civil Registry Office of the city of Moscow Svetlana Ukhaneva.
“The process of obtaining duplicate documents has become much easier for applicants after the transfer of the archives of the Civil Registry Office into electronic form and the transfer of information to the Unified State Register of the Civil Registry Office. Now almost half of all applicants apply to the registry office not at the place of storage of archival documents, but at the one that is most convenient for them, including 41 centers of public services “My Documents” and six flagship offices. For the first half of 2021, the registry office of Moscow issued more than 127 thousand repeated certificates and references. This figure has increased by almost 40 percent compared to the previous year, ”said Svetlana Ukhaneva, Acting Head of the Moscow Civil Registry Office.
From January 1, 2021, all civil status records registered since 1926 are contained in the Unified State Register of the Civil Registry Office. This allows applicants to spend less time obtaining repeat certificates and certificates and greatly simplifies the work of employees. Now, repeated certificates and certificates can be obtained on the day of contact at any registry office. Previously, this procedure took up to 30 days: in order to issue a repeated document from another region, it was necessary to send a written request there.
The state duty for obtaining a repeated certificate is 350 rubles, for obtaining a certificate from the archive – 200 rubles. The list of necessary documents for obtaining a repeated certificate or certificate is posted on the portal mos.ru.
Since May 31 this year, some registry office services have become available in the offices of “My Documents”. In 41 regional centers of public services and six flagship offices, you can now receive repeated certificates and certificates of state registration of acts of civil status for yourself and your minor children, relatives or deceased spouse according to the records made by the registry office in Russia.
