More than 30 young lieutenants-graduates of higher military educational institutions of the Russian Ministry of Defense, located in St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Ryazan, Blagoveshchensk and Kaliningrad, arrived at the Caspian Flotilla for further military service.

All arriving officers were assigned to military positions in formations and military units deployed in the Astrakhan region and the Republic of Dagestan. Among the lieutenants are specialists of various types and types of troops in more than 10 military accounting specialties: navigational, missile and artillery, electromechanical, medical, logistic, diving, mine and torpedo, command, communications and others.

After accepting affairs and positions, young officers will have to perform duties and lead subordinate personnel on the missile ships Dagestan, Tatarstan, small missile ships Grad Sviyazhsk, Uglich and Veliky Ustyug, small artillery ships Astrakhan, “Makhachkala”, missile boat “Stupinets”, base and raid minesweepers, as well as in the units of the coastal troops of the Caspian Flotilla.

Most of the young officers have already taken up their duties in military units and naval formations of the flotilla.

To organize the reception and accommodation of young officers in all divisions of the flotilla, officials were appointed responsible for the timely receipt by the lieutenants of the required preferential payments and compensations for the provision of service housing.
