In Croatia, the results of the X World Championship among youths and juniors and the VI World Championship among girls and juniors in fire and rescue sports were summed up.

The official closing ceremony was attended by employees of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, Director of the Executive Committee of the International Sports Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers Andrei Kalinin, Chief Judge of the World Championships Vladimir Suponenko, Governor of the Medzhimursk District Matiya Posavets.

“You have inscribed the championship in Croatia in the history of fire and rescue sports, the competition took place for the first time in Croatia, and it was in Medzhimurje,” said Andrei Kalinin.

In turn, the governor of Medzhimurskiy district Matiya Posavets wished the young firefighters to preserve the traditions of firefighting through sports and communication.

“I believe that in these competitions you have gained new friendships and pleasant memories that will forever remain in your hearts. We will always be happy to welcome you back to Medzhimurje and Croatia, ”said the Governor.

In the team event among the girls, the places were distributed as follows:

1st place – Czech Republic.

2nd place – the Russian Federation.

3rd place – the Republic of Belarus.

In the team competition among young men, the places were distributed as follows:

1st place – the Russian Federation.

2nd place – Czech Republic.

3rd place – the Republic of Belarus.

Teams from 9 countries fought for the World Champions Cup: Russia, Belarus, Bulgaria, India, Latvia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Croatia and Estonia. The Russian team was represented by girls and boys, students of colleges and universities of the EMERCOM of Russia.
