St. Petersburg hosts the Russian sailing championship in the cruising yacht L-6 class, as well as the second stage of the Baltic Wind regatta. The yacht “Argo” of the CSKA branch, St. Petersburg, takes part in the competition.

The Russian Championship was held along the following route: St. Petersburg – Kronshtadt – Gogland Island – Vysotsk – Primorsk – St. Petersburg.

On August 10, the second stage of the Baltic Wind regatta, which takes place as part of the St. Petersburg Sailing Week, ended. 12 yachts of the L-6 class, 15 yachts of the ORC class and 13 yachts of the free class, including a group of yachts that came from Vyborg, covered the distance from the island of Gogland to Vysotsk.

The second place in the L-6 class was taken by the yacht “Argo” of the CSKA branch, St. Petersburg under the leadership of captain Valery Tikhonov. The first place was taken by the yacht “Nika” and the third place was taken by the yacht “Neptune”.
