The banners of the divisions and regiments that participated in the Great Patriotic War were delivered to the Black Sea Fleet.

In total, 11 banners were handed over to carry out restoration work and prepare them for the solemn ceremony of transferring them to the museums of military glory of Crimea and Sevastopol. Among them: the battle banner of the 318th separate anti-submarine aircraft Konstanzsky Red Banner long-range regiment, the banner of the 6th Guards Tank Brigade, the red banner of the Guards Rifle Corps, the red banner of the 279th Rifle Lisichansk Red Banner Division, the red banner of the 79th and 101st tank brigades, the battle banner of the 315th Melitopol Red Banner Infantry Division, the red banner of the 366th Infantry Regiment, the red banner of the 202nd Tank Brigade, the red banner of the 383rd Feodosia Red Banner Infantry Division, the patron banner of the 83rd Separate Infantry Brigade of the Marine Corps from Borovlya Soviet and party organizations.

At present, the relics have been examined by the fleet commission together with representatives of the museum-reserve of the heroic defense and liberation of Sevastopol. The scope of restoration work has been determined for each battle banner.

The ceremonial presentation of battle flags will be organized during the opening of the VII International Military-Technical Forum (IMTF) “Army-2021” at the site of the Southern Military District in the hero city of Sevastopol, which will be held on August 27 at the Patriot Park branch.

The battle banners received as historical museum exhibits are the banners of rifle, cavalry and tank divisions and brigades formed during the Great Patriotic War in the southern regions of the USSR.
