The all-Russian youth army action “Graffiti of Victory” continues to conquer cities. Another patriotic art object appeared in Solnechnogorsk near Moscow. On Krasnaya Street, on the wall of the building of the local military registration and enlistment office, activists of the movement painted the image of a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, twice Hero of the Soviet Union, Colonel-General of Tank Forces David Dragunsky, after whom one of the streets is named in the city. Alina Sorokina was painted next to the commander of the 55th Guards Tank Brigade. It is she who is in the framework of the All-Russian Youth Army Forum “High five!” presented to the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, an exhibition of the search movement of the urban district of Solnechnogorsk. According to the girl, it is a great honor for her to be in the same picture with the Hero of the Great Patriotic War.

“The essence of the art object dedicated to the project of the Ministry of Defense of Russia“ Road of Memory ”is that it consists of two parts. On one half there is a famous front-line soldier, on the other – a youth soldier, who has become an example for his peers. Our achievements in comparison with the feats of the front-line soldiers, of course, do not seem so significant. But we strive to be worthy of the memory of the Heroes, ”said Alina.

For a composition measuring three by five meters, the young patriots took fifty cans of paint and several hours of work. Now it will delight the eyes of residents and guests of the city – the drawing is located in a place popular with pedestrians. It will be seen from afar.

“The drawings of young patriots have already appeared in more than two dozen cities in Russia. Connecting young people with the generation of winners is the main goal of the patriotic action. It turns out such an object lesson in history. Thanks to the work of the Yunarmiya activists, the descendants will remember each hero, “said Anton Kuznetsov, Deputy Chief of the General Staff for Project Activities of the Yunarmiya VVPOD.
