Students of the military training center of the Far Eastern State University of Railways (FESTU) completed their training camp, as part of the preliminary work on the sites of the reconstruction of the Baikal-Amur Mainline (BAM).

Graduates completed work to clean up the site of the future embankment of the second branch of the BAM from afforestation. All work was carried out jointly with the servicemen of the railway formations of the Eastern Military District (VVO), performing preparatory work for the reconstruction of the BAM at the construction sites in the vicinity of the villages of Ogoron and Ulak in the Amur Region.

The training camp with the graduates of FESTU took place as part of the military training program for citizens undergoing training at the military training center at the FESTU. During these meetings, the graduates of FESTU in practice consolidated all the theoretical knowledge they acquired in the learning process. The practical skills acquired during the training camp will be able to apply to young railway specialists in their future professional activities.

In the future, for the period of construction of the second branch of the BAM, similar events with graduates of FESTU will be held on an ongoing basis.
