The total area of ​​the four-storey sports and recreation complex will be more than 3700 square meters. It will include swimming pools for recreational swimming with a bathtub measuring 25 by 16 meters and a bathtub measuring 10 by six meters for teaching children from seven to 10 years old to swim, changing rooms, a buffet, technical, household and auxiliary facilities. A medical block and administrative premises will be built there.

The complex is intended for sports and recreation activities, as well as for regional swimming competitions without spectators. The sports center will receive visitors all year round.

The building will be adapted for people with limited mobility – it will be comfortable for them to study in the pool, visit the buffet and the medical office. In addition, parking spaces will be provided for them on the adjacent territory.

“We have more than doubled the number of sports facilities in Moscow. The construction of sports facilities made it possible to more than double the number of city residents going in for sports, ”added Rafik Zagrutdinov.

Over the past 10 years, more than 140 large sports facilities have been built in the capital (football fields, fitness centers, swimming pools, stadiums and ice arenas). This year in Moscow are planning put into operation 13 new sports facilities.
