The next military field training for the Yunarmeys will take place in September and will be dedicated to the memory of the Hero of Russia, Guards Captain V.V. Romanov.

Viktor Viktorovich Romanov – battery commander of the 1140th Guards Artillery Regiment of the 76th Guards Airborne Division, Guard Captain. Hero of the Russian Federation (posthumously). On March 1, 2000, while carrying out a combat mission on the territory of the Chechen Republic, Captain Romanov was an attached artillery spotter of the 6th paratrooper company of the 104th guards parachute regiment of the 76th guards airborne division. Killed, causing artillery fire on himself. For courage and heroism shown in battles against terrorists, he was posthumously awarded the title Hero of the Russian Federation.
