On August 22, in the Republic of Belarus, on the territory of the Brest Fortress-Hero memorial complex, the opening ceremony of the international competitions “Sniper Frontier”, “Polar Star” and “Confident Reception” will be held in which teams from 17 countries will take part.

The Russian team at the international marksmanship competition will be represented by the winners of the all-army stage of the Sniper Frontier-2021 competition – the best snipers from the special forces of the Eastern and Western military districts of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. In addition, the teams of the Russian Guard and DOSAAF of Russia participate in the competitions on an out-of-competition basis.

In the competitions of the Polar Star special forces groups, Russia will be represented by the best scouts of the special forces of the Airborne Forces. The Russian Guard team will also take part in the competition on an out-of-competition basis.

The international competitions “Sniper Frontier”, “Polar Star” will be held on the basis of the Brestsky training ground of the 38th separate guards air assault brigade of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, and the competition “Confident reception” in Minsk and will last until September.

The international competitions “Sniper Frontier”, “Polar Star” and “Confident Reception” will be held within the framework of the VII International Army Games in the Republic of Belarus from August 22 to September 4. Teams from Russia, Belarus, Venezuela, Vietnam, India, Iran, Qatar, China, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Mali, Morocco, Pakistan, Serbia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Sri Lanka will take part in them.
