In Kabardino-Balkaria, the high-altitude units of Russia, China, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Uzbekistan and India have completed preparations for the Elbrus Ring competition of the International Army Games 2021.

In the course of training in the club of the Sports Center “Terskol” instructions were given. The participants were told about all stages of the competition, especially in detail about the ascent to the highest point in Europe – Mount Elbrus. They were reminded of the dangers (water barriers, crumbling rocks and glaciers) during the 100-kilometer march. A helicopter landing and disembarkation exercise was also conducted. Previously, the servicemen were informed about the safety precautions during the landing.

At the end of the preparation, the technical commission reviewed the readiness of the personnel, property and equipment of the participating teams.

For reference:

The 2021 International Army Games will be held from August 22 to September 4 on the territory of 11 states (Russia, Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Iran, Qatar, Kazakhstan, China, Serbia, Uzbekistan).

In total, more than 5 thousand servicemen, consisting of 277 teams from 42 countries, take part in 34 competitions of ARMI-2021.
