As part of the Army-2021 International Military-Technical Forum (IMTF) in the Trans-Baikal Territory, at the main site of a large-scale event in the Victory Park of the city of Chita, servicemen of the combined-arms army of the Eastern Military District (VVO) will show modern samples of engineering robotic equipment.

Thus, within the framework of the static display, the Uran-6 robotic demining complex will be demonstrated to the audience.

The complex weighs about 6 tons and is intended for demining urbanized areas of the terrain, as well as mountainous and small-wooded areas. “Uran-6” is a tracked self-propelled radio-controlled mine sweep. The complex is equipped with five different interchangeable tools: striker, roller and milling trawls, as well as a dozer blade and a mechanical gripper.

The operator can control the complex at a distance of up to 800 meters (the device has 4 video cameras that provide an all-round view). The robotic sapper complex “Uran-6” is able to destroy any explosive object. At the same time, the robot ensures complete safety of personnel. The Uran-6 ammunition found on the ground is neutralized either by destroying them physically or by activating them.

The military-technical forum “Army-2021” will be held from August 26-28 in the regional center, the city of Borzya and the village of Drovyanaya. In total, over 100 samples of weapons, including aviation equipment, will be presented at the thematic sites of the military-technical forum.
