Today, on August 22, the chief judge of the Tank Biathlon competition of ARMI-2021, Major General Alexander Glazkov, started the races of tank crews in the Individual Race nomination.

The first crews of the 1st division of the national teams of Russia, China and Uzbekistan began the race.

Every year, tank crews representing the Russian and Chinese national teams become winners and prize-winners in the individual classification. In recent years, good results have been achieved, including by Uzbek tankers. This has been confirmed this year as well.

During the race on 22 August, the race participants hit 14 of 15 compulsory targets. During the stubborn struggle, the best time in the race was 19 minutes. 34 sec. showed the crew of the Russian national team consisting of foreman Alexander Namsaraev, foreman Dashinima Galdanov and private Viktor Khishektuev. Tankers from China came second to the finish line with a score of 21 minutes. 56 sec., The third were the military personnel from Uzbekistan, showing the result of 23 min. 31 sec.

Also on this day, the arrival of the first crews of the second division took place, in which tankers from Laos, Kyrgyzstan, Mali and Myanmar competed. The Mali national team tankers took part in the Tank Biathlon competition for the first time and showed a decent result in fire destruction of targets for a newcomer of the competition. The first to finish was the crew of Myanmar with a score of 28 minutes. 57 sec., The second finished the race by the servicemen from Kyrgyzstan with a total time of 32 min. 12 sec. The Lao team finished third with 32 minutes. 50 sec.

For the first time in the history of Tank Biathlon, tankers from Vietnam, who won the second division in 2020, will compete in the first division. The Vietnamese crew will start their race on 23 August, which will also feature tankers from Mongolia, Syria and Venezuela. The opening ceremony of the Tank Biathlon competition will take place at the Alabino training ground. The ceremony starts at 12.00.

The International Army Games-2021 will be held from August 22 to September 4, 2021 on the territory of 11 states (Russia, Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Iran, Qatar, Kazakhstan, China, Serbia, Uzbekistan).

In total, more than 5 thousand servicemen, consisting of 277 teams from 42 countries, take part in 34 competitions of ARMI-2021.
