The possibility of broadcasting from the intensive care units and neonatal pathology is now available at the perinatal center of the city hospital No. 24, the infectious diseases clinical hospital No. 2, the Morozov children’s city hospital and the maternity hospital of the city clinical hospital No. 15 named after Filatov.

In the capital, at the request of parents, a video broadcasting system has been created from the intensive care and pathology departments of newborns. “Within the framework of the pilot project, which is taking place in the perinatal center of the City Clinical Hospital No. 24, video surveillance cameras were installed on the incubs for premature babies. Parents can constantly monitor the condition of their babies. Of course, worries about the fate of a loved one will not disappear anywhere. But when he is in front of your eyes, then your soul becomes a little easier, “- wrote in Sergey Sobyanin on his blog.

To access the broadcast, parents must write an application and include their name and date of birth, passport details, phone number, email address, and the name of the child (if any). They will receive an individual temporary link to the video broadcast by e-mail.

The decision on the possibility is made by the head of the department or the attending physician. Video broadcasting is conducted around the clock (except for the moments of medical and diagnostic manipulations or technical work).

Recently, three more hospitals were connected to the pilot project – the infectious diseases hospital No. 2, the Morozov children’s city hospital and the maternity hospital of the city clinical hospital No. 15 named after Filatov.

“Video recordings are not saved and are not transferred anywhere, and only parents and a limited number of technical specialists have access to them. Over a year and a half of the pilot project, 437 families took advantage of this opportunity. As shown by a survey of parents, in 96 percent of cases, observing a child brought them peace of mind, ”said Sergei Sobyanin.
