The servicemen of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, within the framework of the first stage of the international competition “Equestrian Marathon” of the International Army Games – 2021, began to overcome a two-day route more than 100 km long at the “Kara-Khaak” training ground in the Republic of Tyva.

During the competition, the participants will have to overcome a water obstacle and an area with a mine-explosive barrier, organize a horse patrol with reconnaissance of targets imitating enemy manpower on a route about 30 km long, organize a watering hole for animals and carry out the transportation of weapons and ammunition from the source of destruction.

In addition, the participants of the competition will organize an overnight stay, where they will demonstrate their skills in survival in extreme conditions, finding water and food, as well as building a temporary home.

The international stage of the Equestrian Marathon competition within the framework of the International Army Games – 2021 is held on the basis of a mountain motorized rifle unit of the Central Military District at the Kara-Khaak training ground. Equestrian units from Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan take part in it.

The International Army Games 2021 will be held from August 22 to September 4, 2021 on the territory of 11 states (Russia, Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Iran, Qatar, Kazakhstan, China, Serbia, Uzbekistan).

In total, more than 5 thousand servicemen, consisting of 277 teams from 42 countries, take part in 34 competitions of ARMI-2021.
