He noted that this year, more than 90 percent of enterprises and organizations of the Russian defense-industrial complex participate in the IMTF Army-2021 framework, that leading experts from almost 100 countries of the world had an opportunity to get acquainted with the latest technical achievements of Russia in the field of defense at the forum. … The President of Russia also stressed that at the forum, special attention will be paid to the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies into practice.

Having wished the forum participants fruitful work, and the Army Games contestants success in the competition, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the Army-2021 International Military-Technical Forum and the 2021 Army International Army Games open.

Further, within the framework of the forum, Vladimir Putin gave a videoconference command to lay down warships for the Navy at the leading Russian shipbuilding enterprises.

The Army-2021 Forum is held from 22 to 28 August in the Patriot military-patriotic park of culture and recreation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, at the Kubinka airfield and at the Alabino training ground, as well as in all military districts and in the Northern Fleet. The events include expositions, demonstration and scientific and business programs.

This year, in parallel with the forum – (from August 22 to September 4), the VII International Army Games will be held, in which teams from 44 countries will take part. Eleven states host the games jointly with Russia.
