At the international competition “Excellence in Military Intelligence” within the framework of ARMI-2021, which takes place in the Novosibirsk region, the first stage of the competition started, where participants from 6 countries performed a landing method from a Mi-8 AMTSh-B “Terminator” helicopter and made a march over a distance of 15 km.

During the first day of the competition, Russian and foreign intelligence units in full strength and combat gear landed from an Mi-8 helicopter and entered the designated assembly point, located 500 meters from the landing site, observing order of battle, camouflage and security in conditions of a possible meeting with a conditional adversary.

Then the participants proceeded to make a march, during which the scouts had to determine the coordinates of the route and go through 7 control points, repelling the attack of a conditional enemy along the way.

When making a march, movement in azimuth should be carried out only with the use of a magnetic compass, the use of other electronic navigation and positioning aids is strictly prohibited.

For the best performance of the assigned tasks, the teams are awarded points, for the loss of camouflage elements, incorrect installation of mine explosives, violation of order of battle and other violations, penalties will be calculated from the total number of points.

Servicemen from the Russian Federation, the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of South Ossetia and the Republic of India compete for the title of the best intelligence officers.

The International Army Games 2021 will be held from August 22 to September 4, 2021 on the territory of 11 states (Russia, Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Iran, Qatar, Kazakhstan, China, Serbia, Uzbekistan).
