At the facility of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in the village of Privetninskoye, Vyborgsky District of the Leningrad Region, at the expense of the budget of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Central Housing and Communal Administration”, work has been completed on the overhaul of water supply, sewerage and heat supply networks.

External networks of water supply, sewerage, as well as structures and equipment that ensure the operability of these networks, on the territory of military camps in the process of operation have undergone wear due to the natural aging of materials.

The branch of the FSBI TsZhKU of the Russian Ministry of Defense in the Western Military District was faced with the task of replacing more than 19 kilometers of heat supply networks, 12 kilometers of water supply networks, as well as more than 5 kilometers of fire-fighting water supply networks. When repairing the pipeline, a trenchless technology was used: sanitation with a flexible polymer stocking and pulling a new pipe by destroying the old pipeline. Trenchless technologies for rehabilitation and laying of pipelines, along with efficiency, allow not to violate the existing environmental situation and infrastructure.

Also, the branch of the FSBI TsZhKU of the Russian Ministry of Defense in the Western Military District carried out repairs of 3 artesian wells and a reservoir of clean water. New tanks were installed at the water pumping station to provide consumers with water when switching to an emergency power supply, new filtering equipment was installed using ultraviolet disinfection, which is considered the most promising reagent-free method of water disinfection.

The work carried out by specialists of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “TsZhKU” of the Ministry of Defense of Russia in the Western Military District at the facilities of the military department in the village of Privetninskoye was completed in full and on time.

Thanks to the work carried out, the results of water samples showed full compliance with SanPiN, as well as improved indicators for the provision of public services for water supply and sewerage in the interests of 750 residents of apartment buildings, 210 conscripts, as well as 500 cadets of the scientific experimental and testing base of the Military Academy of MTO named after General of the Army A.V. Khrulev.
