Eleven newest simulators of the Diamond DA-42T combat trainer aircraft will be delivered to the Krasnodar Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots by 2025.

The first example of the Diamond DA-42T simulator (the Russian version of the Austrian Diamond aircraft) was presented at the Army-2021 International Military-Technical Forum, which is now being tested. In November of this year, two such simulators will be delivered to the Krasnodar Flight School as part of the state defense order, next year three more, and 11 units will be delivered by 2025.

Training of cadets on the simulator will precede real flights. In addition, the simulator will help to reveal the propensity of this or that cadet to a certain type of aviation. “Thanks to the simulator, we have a clear picture of who, in terms of their psycho-physiological capabilities, this or that cadet is and to what kind of aviation he has a predisposition, military transport or operational-tactical.”

The simulator, developed by the Krasnodar Flight School and JSC “RAA Spetstekhnika”, is a completely identical simulator cabin of the aircraft. Pilots will be able to work out all sorts of difficult situations on it. The virtual environment repeats the airfields where pilots are trained – Balashov, Rtishchevo and Krasnodar – Centralny.
