The federal center continues to help the regions with solving the problem of emergency housing and creating infrastructure for a comfortable life for citizens. For these purposes, 19.7 billion rubles will be allocated from the reserve fund. This order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

This money is provided in the budget for 2022–2023, but will be directed to the regions now. Of these, more than 13.1 billion rubles will go to the accelerated resettlement of citizens from emergency houses in 23 regions of the country. With the help of federal funding, almost 26 thousand people will be resettled. The total area of ​​housing, which is planned for resettlement, is 417 thousand square meters. m.

Part of the allocated funds – 3.4 billion rubles – will go to another 10 regions for the accelerated completion of the construction of infrastructure important for residents of new buildings. We are talking about schools, kindergartens, clinics, roads and utilities.

Also, 2.2 billion rubles will be allocated to improve the stability of buildings in seismically hazardous areas of the country – the Kemerovo region, Chechnya and Karachay-Cherkessia. Another 1 billion rubles will be spent on the modernization of infrastructure facilities in three regions of Russia – Kamchatka Krai, Voronezh and Rostov regions.

“It is necessary to use all mechanisms of advanced construction and resettlement so that citizens do not wait for years for their apartments. And create all the necessary infrastructure as soon as possible, ”Mikhail Mishustin said at meeting of the Government on 17 August.
