Teams of the Armed Forces of Russia and Mongolia entered the race of over 100 km during the second day of the International Competition “Equestrian Marathon” of the International Army Games – 2021 in the Republic of Tuva.

During the passage of the stage, the servicemen will demonstrate their skills in handling horses, on which they will overcome a water obstacle with a section of mine-explosive obstacles, will conduct a horse patrol on an area of ​​terrain up to 30 km dwellings.

In addition, the participants of the competition from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, who started the day before, have already overcome the two-day race and have successfully finished, having completed a number of special tasks on the second day of the competition: they organized a watering for animals and transported weapons and ammunition over a distance of more than 5 km.

The international stage of the Equestrian Marathon competition within the framework of the International Army Games – 2021 is held on the basis of a mountain motorized rifle unit of the Central Military District at the Kara-Khaak training ground. Equestrian units from Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan take part in it.

The International Army Games 2021 will be held from August 22 to September 4, 2021 on the territory of 11 states (Russia, Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Iran, Qatar, Kazakhstan, China, Serbia, Uzbekistan).

In total, more than 5 thousand servicemen, consisting of 277 teams from 42 countries, take part in 34 contests of ARMI-2021.
